about me
Since around 2004 I've been a member of the fencing group Lebendige Schwertkunst, dedicated to the reconstruction of historical fencing techniques from medieval manuscripts. Some of that group are also interested in re-enactment and that's how I became introduced to the late 15th century. Since then, I'm trying to get more historically accurate with each passing year... There's still a lot to learn (and always will be I guess but isn't that part of the fun of this hobby?)
I want to present on these pages some of the costumes and accessories I've made for late 15th century re-enactment (South Germany region) along with some thoughts and the research that went into them. With these things I tend to spend a larger part of my free time... So have a look around if you like.
